A four star apartment hotel on Un Avenue, on the market and flyover side of the city, with kitchens, laundry and parking in the building. It suits longer stays that run on a car; it does not suit anyone who wants to walk out of the door into the centre.
01What it is
The Warwick Centre lists apartments rather than plain rooms, and the useful part of that is the kitchen: oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, washing machine, iron and board. Bathrooms come with a bath or shower, towels, a hairdryer and a WC. There is free wifi and internet access, a desk, a TV, a safe and lifts. Security runs around the clock, housekeeping and cleaning are listed, and the building carries parking, a shuttle service, a restaurant, a spa and massage. The list stops short on outdoor space: a balcony and a smoking area are all it says about being outside, and there is nothing about a pool or a gym.
As a place to sleep, the Warwick Centre works like a serviced flat: you can cook, wash and dry clothes, and leave a car in the building, which changes the arithmetic on a stay of a week rather than a night. Breakfast and dinner are covered by the restaurant when you want them, and the spa and massage are there for the end of the day. What it is not is a base for walking the city: this is a transport edge rather than an evening one, and you cross it by car. The Warwick Centre suits longer stays and anyone arriving with a vehicle, and it does not suit a first visit built around walking the centre.

04Standing outside the ten quarters
These hotels are not in Ngara and the Globe, and they are not in any of the ten quarters this site covers. They sit well outside the centre, in the inner suburbs. Of those ten quarters, Ngara and the Globe is only the nearest, and it is still a separate place: the northern edge of the grid, where the city loosens and the roads north begin. The quarter sits 0.81 km from Kenyatta Avenue at Moi Avenue, which is 11 minutes on foot in a direct line, and that is the quarter's own measure, not a walk from your door.
Treat the location as the wider city. Anything you want in the CBD means travelling in and out, and after dark this is a transport edge rather than an evening one, so cross it by car. The Globe Cinema roundabout is the CBD's northern hinge and the fruit market beside it opens at four in the morning, which makes the quarter best for early markets, and the walk up to the National Museum, if you are already there. Museum Hill is the next rise beyond. You are not.

Book the Warwick Centre once you have decided you want an apartment with a kitchen and a car rather than a room in the middle of the centre. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
Facts on this page come from the booking supplier's record: star class, address, photographs and facility list. Guest scores come from verified stays. Nobody from this site has stayed here; the quarter copy around it is this site's own.
06Questions

What does the Warwick Centre list in the rooms?+
Apartments with a kitchen: oven, microwave, refrigerator and toaster, plus a washing machine, iron and board. You also get a bathroom with bath or shower, towels, a hairdryer, a desk, a TV, a safe, free wifi and lifts. A balcony and a smoking area are the only outdoor items.

How do you check availability at the Warwick Centre?+
