A three star apartment block on Riara Road in Kilimani, with an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym, a garden and parking. The list is built for a longer stay rather than a night or two. Whether it is right for you comes down to whether you have a car and want a kitchen.
01What it is
Executive Furnished Apartments With Breathtaking Amazing City Views Gym Swimming Pool Fully Equipped Gym Children Playground And Ample Parking Space And Proximity To Major Shopping Malls And Gourmet Restraunts is a three star block on Riara Road in Kilimani. The facilities list is long and domestic: kitchen and kitchenette, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, iron and board, safe, TV, telephone and radio, plus a balcony and terrace, a garden, lifts and wheelchair access. It carries both a swimming pool and an indoor pool, a gym, free car parking and 24 hour security with security features. Children have a playground. Where the list is thin is the ordinary hotel side: no restaurant is named, no bar, no room service, no business centre or meeting room, and no stated airport transfer.
What that adds up to at Executive Furnished Apartments With Breathtaking Amazing City Views Gym Swimming Pool Fully Equipped Gym Children Playground And Ample Parking Space And Proximity To Major Shopping Malls And Gourmet Restraunts is self contained living on a ridge. You cook, you wash, you park, you swim, you sleep. It suits a family, a relocating household or a project team staying a week or more in Greater Nairobi, and it suits anyone who wants Kilimani rather than the centre. It does not suit a short city break or a business trip that runs on the centre. The street is new concrete on a ridge, built for the car and the conference room, and after dark it is safe and dull: hotel bars, and a ride anywhere else. If that reads as a warning, take it as one; if it reads as quiet, you are the guest this place is built for.

04Standing outside the ten quarters
These hotels are not in Upper Hill and Community, and they are not in any of the ten quarters of the centre this site covers. They sit well outside the centre, in the inner suburbs, and Upper Hill and Community is only the nearest of the ten quarters. That matters more than it sounds: you are staying in the wider city, and anything in the CBD means travelling in and out for it. The ridge itself is new concrete built for the car and the conference room, and most of the CBD's office space has been moving up there since the 2000s, which is why you find the tallest towers in the country, the big hospitals, the aid agencies and an expressway ramp to the airport on it. The quarter sits 1.9 km from Kenyatta Avenue at Moi Avenue, which is 24 minutes on foot in a direct line.
Upper Hill and Community is best for meetings, a quiet night close in, and a fast run to the airport. After dark it is safe and dull: hotel bars, and a ride anywhere else. If you want the centre on foot, this is not the right base.

Book this one direct if you want the apartment rather than a hotel room, and read the facilities list first so you know what you are getting. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
Facts on this page come from the booking supplier's record: star class, address, photographs and facility list. Guest scores come from verified stays. Nobody from this site has stayed here; the quarter copy around it is this site's own.
06Questions
Where exactly is the property?+
It is on Riara Road in Kilimani, in Greater Nairobi. That puts it 6.58 km from Kenyatta Avenue at Moi Avenue, which is 83 minutes on foot in a direct line, and 5.03 km from Upper Hill and Community, which is the nearest of the ten quarters this site covers. Both are short hops by car, not walks you would choose.
What does the property actually list?+
Kitchen and kitchenette, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, iron and board, safe, TV, telephone and radio, plus balcony, terrace and garden. There is a swimming pool and an indoor pool, a gym, free car parking, 24 hour security and a children's playground. It is three star, and it is set up for self catering rather than full hotel service.
Is it practical without a car?+
Kilimani is built around the car. The street is new concrete on a ridge, built for the car and the conference room, and after dark it is safe and dull: hotel bars, and a ride anywhere else. Free parking is listed, so the property expects you to arrive with one. Without a car you are relying on rides for everything.
How do I check availability and book?+
Availability is checked through app.impt.io, which is where the booking is made. Most rooms here can be cancelled free. If you are unsure whether a serviced apartment or a centre hotel fits your trip, decide that first, because this property is set up for longer stays with a kitchen.
